Economic production of high
quality labels on DORNIER air-jet weaving
machines

As a partner of the globally leading
label weaving machine manufacturers, Lindauer DORNIER GmbH will be
represented at ITMA Asia by an air-jet weaving machine on the stand
of one of those manufacturers.
In comparison with traditional needle or rapier weaving machines,
the wide-width DORNIER air-jet weaving machine is gaining ever
greater importance in label production, since a trend towards very
fine, higher weft-density constructions has recently been detected.
Due to the significantly higher air-jet weaving machine weft
insertion rate, production is 35% higher than with comparable
negative rapier weaving machines. These types of product can be
produced correspondingly more economically on air-jet weaving
machines.

After the remarkable ITMA 2007 held in Munich, which exceeded all expectations, the textile industry is looking forward eagerly to the ITMA Asia + CITME 2008 textile machinery trade show taking place in Shanghai at the end of July 2008. Lindauer DORNIER GmbH will participate with two attractive stands representing the company’s product groups “weaving” and “finishing” machinery.

2007, a successful year for Lindauer DORNIER GmbH |

The year 2007 was yet again successful for company Lindauer DORNIER GmbH, the worldwide renowned producer of air-jet and rapier weaving machines and special machinery.
The leading international trade fairs “ITMA” in Munich (textile machinery) and “K07” in Düsseldorf (plastics machines) served as perfect platforms to demonstrate the high engineering level of DORNIER machines and production plants to customers and other interested persons.
In 2007 Lindauer DORNIER GmbH increased its turnover to 221 million EUR (212 million EUR in 2006). The management expects a positive company result at about the same level as for the previous year.
