 DORNIER will be showing a
complete range of tubular knit goods finishing machines at the ITMA 99, all based on the
circular expander patented by the company. Also in this case as previously with the
weaving machines, a complete system incorporating a family of machines will be presented,
consisting of the EcoSinge® Singeing Machine, the EcoMerc® Mercerizing Machine, the
EcoCombine® combined Mercerizing and Bleaching Range and the Circular Squeezing Machine
EcoSqueeze®, which facilitates the wet-in-wet mercerization process, and last but not
least, the EcoFix® Thermal Fixation Range. In the latter case, prefixation of tubular
knit goods containing elastomeric yarns or the thermal fixation of cotton and synthetic
fiber blends in near-perfect circular form, instead of the previous flat form, can be
carried out.
